Ziele setzen und die Bereitschaft Neues zu Lernen; Mission: Top 50 der Welt im 500m Rudern

Ich bin davon überzeugt dass Fitness ident mit Leistung gleichzusetzen ist.

Je fitter ich bin desto mehr Leistung kann ich bringen.

Und Leistung wie uns die Physik verrät kann gemessen werden.

Leistung= (F x D) / T

Also wieviel Gewicht kann ich über welche Strecke in welcher Zeit bewegen?

Weiters bin ich davon überzeugt dass es notwendig ist sich regelmäßig machbare Ziele zu setzen (Missionen) um seine Leistung zu verbessern!

Meines lautete: Rudere Dich innerhalb von 3 Monaten unter die besten 100 der Welt in der 500m Ruder Disziplin!

Machbar?

Nun gut, das wird sich erst rausstellen...

Warum Rudern?

Rudern entspricht unserer Philosophie der funktionellen Bewegungen. Organische Funktionen und neurologische Funktionen um Leistung zu erbringen.

Große Muskeln erzeugen Kraft- geben diese Kraft in die Extremitäten ab- dabei entsteht Geschwindigkeit. Von Innen nach Aussen!

Nebenbei muss es noch eine Menge Intelligenz ausbilden denn die beiden Elite Unis Oxford und Cambridge stellen bekanntlich die besten Ruderteams Englands!

Ich bin auf keinen Fall ein Ruder-Spezialist- ganz im Gegenteil.

Bis vor 3 Monaten hatte ich diese Dinger immer gemieden.

Meistens hat es einen Grund warum man Dinge meidet. Man ist nicht gut darin.

Sie kosten Überwindung, man muss bereit sein Neues zu lernen etc.

Das Schöne daran- all diese Tugenden machen einen langfristig Besser.

Also hab ich mir mitte Jänner so ein Gerät zugelegt und war bereit zu lernen.

Einen gebrauchten Concept 2 Indoor Rower. (Ein Muss für jedes Klasse GYM)

Nach 3 monatigen Training war am 1. April 2011 DEADLINE! Bis dahin musste ich mich unter die Top 100 der Ruderwelt rudern!

Das Ergebnis 1:25,5 min, das ergibt Platz 45 der C2 Weltrangliste!
